About Jimmy
Jimmy Long has been an estate planning and probate lawyer since 1990 and is known statewide as one of Louisiana's leading attorneys. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Administration by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization (LBLS). Jimmy currently serves as a member of the LBLS board, overseeing all legal specialization programs in the State of Louisiana, including bankruptcy, estate planning, family law, and tax law. Prior to serving on the LBLS, Jimmy served two terms on the Estate Planning Advisory Commission for Louisiana, writing and grading the annual estate planning board certification exam for attorneys who wish to become certified as estate specialists. Jimmy has also been active for over 30 years writing and teaching in continuing education programs for Louisiana attorneys, certified public accountants, bankers, trust officers, and financial advisors. Jimmy is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and the Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans. Jimmy and his wife Dr. Mary Long are the parents of three grown daughters and live in their hometown of Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Due to modern technology, where our clients live is not an issue, and in-person meetings are not necessary. For those who do wish to meet in person, we are conveniently located for clients in North, West, and Central Louisiana, including Natchitoches Parish, Sabine Parish, DeSoto Parish, Red River Parish, Vernon Parish, Rapides Parish, Grant Parish, and Winn Parish, including the cities of Natchitoches, Alexandria, Many, Zwolle, Mansfield, Coushatta, Leesville, Colfax, Winnfield, and surrounding areas.
